About Sara

I have always been interested in nutrition and healthy eating, growing up in a home with a mother who always offered healthy and nutritious food choices. By my high school years, I had become very interested in science, biology, physiology, and anatomy. These are just some of the factors that made me choose the field of nutrition, which lead to my attainment of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Iran, I worked as a nutritional consultant in a medical clinic for a few years before moving to Canada 19 years ago. I was extremely happy to move to Vancouver, as I was drawn to its natural beauty and rich multicultural diversity. After working for over nine years in the nutrition department within different hospitals and homecare facilities, my passion continued to develop regarding holistic and sustainable living. This passion drove me to continue my education in nutrition by attending the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Here, I became a Certified Nutritional Practitioner. I have certificate in Therapeutic Nutrition & Supplement in Practice, along with a certificate in Herbal Pharmacology & Plant-Based Medicine Making.

Holistic means treating the body as a whole and getting to the root cause of a health issue, not just creating a Band-Aid solution by simply treating the symptoms. As a holistic nutritionist, I believe we are all unique. Accordingly, there isn’t just one uniform diet or lifestyle routine that works for everyone. This is why I love to meet with my clients in order to cater a consultation package that best suits their unique needs. True health can only be obtained by an optimal state of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

I am passionate about educating others on how to take charge of their health, to minimize disease and illness, while achieving and maintaining superior health and quality of life. My specialties are weight gain and loss, detoxifying the body with food, digestion issues, women’s health, hormonal imbalance, adrenal fatigue, arthritis, acne, and hypertension solutions.
